Placement Services Recruitment is recruiting a BI Manager for our client based in Sandton.
We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence professional to lead reporting, analytics, and dashboarding capabilities across the business, providing actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.
Key Focus Areas
Business Intelligence & Reporting
• Lead the BI and analytics function across the business.
• Develop and maintain operational, commercial, financial, customer, and executive dashboards.
• Deliver accurate, actionable reporting and Management Information (MI).
• Improve visibility of business performance through self-service reporting.
• Standardise KPI definitions, reporting frameworks, and dashboard structures.
Commercial & Operational Analytics
• Analyse business, customer, operational, and financial performance data.
• Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and operational inefficiencies.
• Deliver commercially focused insights to support business growth and performance.
Dashboarding & Data Visualisation
• Design and manage user-friendly dashboards and reporting environments.
• Translate complex data into meaningful business insights.
• Drive data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
Data Governance & Accuracy
• Ensure data integrity, reporting accuracy, and consistency.
• Improve reporting governance and data quality standards.
• Support audit, compliance, and business reporting requirements.
Stakeholder Management
• Partner with Executive Leadership, Finance, Operations, Sales & Marketing, Customer Experience, and Technology teams.
• Influence business decisions through data-driven insights and reporting.

Experience Required
Essential
• 6+ years’ experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Reporting, or Commercial Insights.
• 3+ years’ experience in a BI leadership or management role.
• Strong dashboard development and reporting experience.
• Advanced SQL and Power BI skills.
• Experience working with large, high-volume datasets.
Highly Advantageous
• Experience within iGaming, Online Betting, FinTech, Financial Services, Telecommunications, Retail, or E-commerce environments.
• Experience delivering commercial and operational performance reporting.
• Exposure to customer analytics, transactional data, and KPI reporting.
Qualifications
• Degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Relevant BI, Analytics, SQL, or Power BI certifications will be advantageous.
